Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Bangalore
On arrival at Bangalore airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative who will assist you for transfer and check-in to your hotel.

Day 2 : In Bangalore
Breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed for your Bangalore's local sightseeing tour in which we will be visiting some of the major attractions like Vidhan Sabha, Lal Bagh Botanical Garden, a government edifice built in Neo Dravidian style, Tipu's Palace, Bangalore Palace. Later in the evening you can explore the city visiting the MG Road which is best known for its amazing shopping experience, restaurants, cafes and food outlets offering delectable delicacies.

Day 3 : Bangalore – Hassan (By Road 190 kms / 4-5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast we start the drive to Hassan. En-route we visit Shravanabelagola known for the Gomateshwara Statue - one of the most-visited Jain pilgrimage spots in South India. It is famous for a massive 57-ft high statue of Bahubali, which is the world's tallest monolithic stone statue carved out of a single granite block.

Post visit continue our drive for Hassan and on arrival check in to hotel. The balance of the day will be at leisure.

Day 4 : In Hassan
Moring after breakfast proceed for the excursion to visit the Belur and Halebid Temples the splendid evidences of Hoysala architecture.

The Chennakeshava Temple, also referred to as Keshava, Kesava or Vijayanarayana Temple of Belur, is a 12th-century Hindu temple. It was commissioned by King Vishnuvardhana in 1117 CE, on the banks of the Yagachi River in Belur also called Velapura, an early Hoysala Empire capital. The temple was built over three generations and took 103 years to finish. It was repeatedly damaged and plundered during wars, repeatedly rebuilt and repaired over its history.

Hoysaleswara Temple, also referred simply as the Halebidu temple, is a 12th-century Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. It is the largest monument in Halebidu. The temple was built on the banks of a large man-made lake, and sponsored by King Vishnuvardhana of the Hoysala Empire. Its construction started around 1121 CE and was complete in 1160 CE. During the early 14th century, Halebidu was twice sacked and plundered by the Muslim armies of the Delhi Sultanate from northern India, and the temple and the capital fell into a state of ruin and neglect.

Day 5 : Hassan – Mysore (By Road 120 kms / 2-3 hrs)
After breakfast we start the drive to Mysore - the palace city of South India. On reaching Mysore check in to your hotel.

The Mysore Palace - the former residence of the royal family of Mysore, the Mysore Palace is an extremely breath-taking example of the Indo-Sarcenic style of architecture. It was built in the year 1912 for the 24th Ruler of the Wodeyar Dynasty, and is till date one of the biggest palaces in the country.

Brindavan Gardens - Built across the Kaveri river, these beautiful gardens were constructed by Krishnaraja Wodeyar. These gardens spread over 60 acres of land and were modeled after the Shalimar gardens of Kashmir. The beauty of these gardens multiplies in the evenings when the fountains light up in various colors.

Day 6 : Mysore – Kabini (By Road 60 kms / 1-2 hrs)
Today after breakfast we check out and drive to Kabini.

Kabini is famous for its Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary which is located on the banks for Kabini river. The sanctuary is home to the variety of wildlife species such as elephants, leopard, panther, sambhar, spotted deer, crocodile & more and beautiful flora & fauna with a varied species of birds too.

Afternoon proceed for a jungle safari or elephant safari to witness the jungle wildlife to its fullest.

Evening relax and enjoy your stay at your jungle resort.

Day 7 : In Kabini
Early morning you shall be picked-up and taken for the Boat Safari (duration 6.30 am to 9.15)

Return back to the resort, have your breakfast and free time to relax till afternoon.

In the afternoon we proceed for another Jungle Safari by Jeep or Elephant to witness the jungle wildlife. Evening will be at leisure.

Day 8 : Kabini – Wayanad (By Road 150 kms / 3-4 hrs)
Breakfast and check out to start the drive for Wayanad - popular town famous for its wildlife and its spice plantations. It is part of a forest reserve, located on the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Because of it wild green coverage it offers great scenic beauty.

Your will be staying at the Vythiri Resort in Wayanad, which set along the slope of a forest clad hill, beside three branches of a sprightly mountain stream that forks as it flows through the 150 acre property, coming together and broadening at the end of the slope, Vythiri Resort is an exquisite jungle hideaway and a naturalist's treasure trove.

You can engage yourself in various in resort activities offered like guided trek to the tropical rainforest with a resort naturalist, cycling trails, culinary demonstration or take a leisurely walk to the nearby water fall.

Day 9 : Wayanad – Thrissur (By Road 190 kms / 05 hrs)
Today after breakfast we start our drive for Thrissur. On reaching Thrissur check in to your hotel.

Later in the afternoon after taking some rest, proceed to visit some of the prominent sites in the city - Temples, Church and Museums.

Day 10 : Thrissur - Kochi (By Road 120 kms / 3-4 hrs)
Today after breakfast we start our drive for Kochi. We shall first be visiting the Guruvayur a small town known for the famous Guruvayur Temple. The temple is also known for having around more than 50 elephants which are housed nearby at Punnathurkotta which was once the palace of a local ruler, but the palace grounds are now used to keep these elephants, and has been renamed Anakkotta (meaning "Elephant Fort").

Post visit continue our drive for Kochi. 'Kochi' is the commercial hub of Kerala and a town of great historical importance. It has one of the finest natural harbors and is called the "Queen of the Arabian Sea". On reaching Kochi check in to your hotel and relax.

Day 11 : Kochi – Thekkady (By Road 160 kms / 4-5 hrs)
Today post breakfast at hotel check out and drive to Thekkady. On reaching Thekkady check in to your hotel.

After freshen up proceed for a Spice Plantation Tour where you get to understand the different types of spices grown and available in this region. Thekkady is considered as a heaven for natural spices like black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, nutmace, ginger, and clove.

Early evening we take you to enjoy a performance of traditional Kalaripayattu, a martial art, which originated as a style in Kerala itself. The word Kalari first appears in the Tamil Sangam literature to describe both a battlefield and combat arena.

Day 12 : In Thekkady
Breakfast at the hotel.

Start the day with your visit to the Periyar National Park, here you get the opportunity to view the wildlife on a Boat Cruise on the Periyar Lake. A boat ride on the splendid Periyar lake is the best way to experience the sanctuary. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the few places where the chances are pretty high that you will spot an elephant in the wild at close quarters and from the safe confines of a boat. Not just elephant but if it’s your lucky day, gaur, masher, otter and other wildlife.

The balance of the day will be free to relax or explore the local markets and shop for some the best quality spices.

Day 13 : Thekkady – Alleppey (By Road 150 kms / 3-4 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel.

Post tour continue drive for Alleppey where you board into a Traditional Kerala Style Boat to begin the journey in the boat, through the tropical countryside enchanting backwaters for which Kerala is very famous, while sailing enjoy palm fringed narrow canals winding through the vast expanse of paddy fields and the neat tiny hamlets lined up along either side of the canals are panoramic sights one can never forget. Evening enjoy sunset from the sun-deck of the houseboat. A ride on the houseboat is a fabulous way to explore the fascinating beauty of the backwaters.

Day 14 : Alleppey – Marari (By Road 25 kms / 30-45 mins)
Breakfast in the houseboat.

Post breakfast you shall dis-embark from the houseboat and drive to Marari. On reaching Marari check in to your beach hotel enjoying your stay at leisure and relaxation.

Day 16 : Marari – Kochi (By Road 50 kms / 1-2 hrs)
Post breakfast start the drive to Kochi. On reaching Kochi check in to your hotel.

Freshen-up and proceed for the city tour visiting The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. The Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. The St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. The Santa Cruz Basilica originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese traders.

Evening we take you to enjoy the Traditional Kathakali Dance performance.

Day 17 : Kochi Depart
Breakfast at the hotel. Check out will be at 1200 hrs.
