“Atithi Devo Bhavah” – means guests are treated like gods in India. The word in
itself sums-up what you can expect when you travel to India.
India is unique with extraordinary characteristics and diversity in terms of its
geographical, linguistic, religious, social-cultural features etc. But still, you can find a
thread of unity among Indians. Undoubtedly, India is a museum of various customs,
cultures, creeds, social systems, races and tongues from North to South and East to
West, but still there is unity in all the diversities.

The tag line is very much true; as you visit Nepal you fall in love with it. A paradise
for trekker’s, golden temples, charming hill villages and jungle wildlife makes Nepal
one of the world's great travel destinations. It contains 08 of the world's 10 highest
peaks, including Mount Everest – the world’s tallest – on the border with Tibet,
and Lumbini , the birth place of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism.
Other travellers prefer to see Nepal at a more refined pace, admiring the peaks over
a sunset gin from a Himalayan viewpoint, strolling through the medieval city squares
of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur, and joining Tibetan Buddhist pilgrims on a
spiritual stroll around centuries-old stupas and monasteries.
Bhutan
“Bhutan, Happiness is a place” is the latest tag line given for this Buddhist
kingdom. Happiness can be found often in the simplest of things in anything,
anywhere and anytime. Happiness is universal and it only increases by sharing it.
Bhutan is also often revered as the “Land of the Thunder Dragon” or “DrukYul”, is
still regarded one of the last “Shangri-La’s” in the Himalayan region because of its
remoteness.
It is known for its unique Buddhist monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and dramatic
landscapes that range from sub-tropical plains to steep mountains and valleys,
varied flora and fauna. In the High Himalayas, peaks such as 7,326m Jomolhari are
popular trekking destinations. Paro Taktsang Monastery (also known as Tiger’s
Nest) clings to cliffs above the forested Paro Valley.
It is in the relatively unexplored pockets of Asia, which allows only a limited number
of discerning travellers in order to preserve its fragile environment and culture in its
magical purity hence to safeguard it adopted a controlled tourism and development
policy.
Sri Lanka
“Wonder of Asia” – Sri Lanka is an island nation south of India in the Indian Ocean.
